Greece and Czech will play in the quarter-finals, Russia will finish around 10th and Poland among the last...I feel sorry for them, Russia is one of my favourite teams and they won shots against Greece with 25-5, but, no goal....And Poland were so good hosts...


But neither Czech nor Greece will have chances against Germany and Portugal!

SWEDEN-ENGLAND 2-3

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAH!

UKRAINE-FRANCE 0-2

France was the better team, they won shots 16-9 and ball position 52-48. It was 0-0 until the 53th Minute when Jeremy Menez scored 1-0 to France. Yohann Cabaye doubled the lead only three minutes later. France is in a very good position in the group right now.

But now England-Sweden, there are risks that "the rival in sport situations" Sweden will win...I hope not, with all my body...

SPAIN-IRELAND 4-0

Already at the beginning of the match, I realized which team that should win. Fernando Torres scored the opening goal already in the 4th Minute, David Silva scored 2-0 at the beginning of the second half, Torres 3-0 and Fabregas 4-0. Ireland had no chances against the Spanish team. Spain won shots 26-6 and ball position 66-34. Quite much at this level, to say at least...Ireland are out now, for Spain a draw against reach.

ITALY-CROATIA 1-1

I missed c. 20 minutes of the match, but I saw both the goals and almost all of the finest chances. Italy took the 1-0-lead thanks to a beautiful free-kick by Alexandre Pirlo (39th), but Mario Mandzukic scored 1-1 in the 72th Minute. Italy won shots 15-10 and ball position 52-48. A very close game. Croatia have impressed so far, they have all chances for a "quarter-final ticket"...

HOLLAND-GERMANY 1-2

Who had believed before the tournament that Holland almost should be out after 2/3 matches?

But a loss against Germany is OK. Germany is one of the best football national teams....and they took the victory thanks to two goals by Mario Gomez. Van Persie shot 1-2 but it was too late. Germany controlled the match after the 1-2-goal, too. A fair victory and Germany will play in the quarterfinals.

The Netherlands won shots 13-12 and ball position 52-48, but Germany had the better chances. It is not depending on Stekelenburg, this loss...

DENMARK-PORTUGAL 2-3

It is not so fun at all right now. Nothing against Portugal, but when Denmark is my team, it is hard...

Portugal led 2-0 after goals by Pepe and Helder Postiga, but Bendtner scored 1-2 after 41 minutes, and 2-2 after 80...Then I was certain that it would end 2-2, but...Veloso scored 3-2 in the 87th Minute....Now the group B, the "Group of Death", is very exciting, but I don´t think that Denmark will make it anymore...Portugal won shots 17-9, Denmark ball position 59-41.


Later this evening: Germany-Holland. 2010 the teams were 3rd and 2nd at the World Cup...How will it end this time?

POLAND-RUSSIA 1-1

Was the late match yesterday. Russia started well and Alan Dzagoev scored after 37 minutes after a free-kick. But Blascykovski equalized in the 57th minute, after a horrible mistake by Russia...Poland won shots 15-7, Russia ball position 55-45.

GREECE-CZECH REPUBLIC 1-2

I was on a little bike trip today, but...I got puncture...but I was at home at 19.00 exactly and I was not even in the sofa between the Czechs scored 1-0! It was in the third minute, by Jiracek, and 2-0 was scored in the 6th Minute by Pilar, his second goal in the tournament. Greece scored 1-2 in the 53nd minute by Gekas, but after that the match was very boring. The Czechs won shots with 8-7 and scored two fast goals. A fair victory to say at least. Ball position 53-47 to the Czechs.

I just cant believe it is true :)
